Cardea Construction Co. has received its CGR, a designation emphasizing our business management skills as the key to a professional remodeling operation. Cardea’s CGR designation indicates that not only have we completed the requirements of the CGR professional designation program, we continue to take additional educational credits and we adher to the prescribed business standards and experience of our profession. We keep current on the latest financing techniques, products and codes.
Green Building Professional
As a Certified Green Professional™ we strive to incorporate green building principles into homes— without driving up the cost of construction. This includes techniques like smart framing and using sustainable products and those that bring as few chemicals into the home as possible. Virtually every home feature has available options that can improve energy efficiency, resource efficiency and air quality. Green building prioritizes effective site design and development, as an initial focus for reducing the environmental impacts of contructions.
Lead Paint Safety Training
The entire staff of Cardea Construction Co. has taken the Lead Paint Safety Training. If you have a home that was built prior to 1978, Cardea is a certified contractor; able to encapsulate or remove it. Working to remove lead paint requires safety suits and containment of the home.
